Winter Meetings

We have shifted regular meditation practice off-campus for the moment, and are meeting with our sister group, the Sudbury Shambhala Meditation Group:

Wednesdays, 7-8 pm, at the Tree of Life North, 251 Regent Street.

We also have monthly nynthuns, or half-day sits, and offer introductory classes and retreats.

To be added to the mailing list and to receive regular updates, please email sudburyshambhala@gmail.com or lumsa.laurentian@gmail.com.

We are a non-sectarian group practicing a range of mindfulness meditation traditions. Meditation instruction is offered on the first week of the month.

Who are we?

LUMSA is a Laurentian University based group that gathers regularly with the combined interest of studying the philosophies of Buddhism, and practicing Mindfulness Meditation.

Our membership is open to students and non-students alike, regardless of religious or philosophical background; the only prerequisites are an open mind and a respectful attitude.
